I love traveling, and I love painting and sharing the universal language of art with children and adults across the world, so I have dedicated this time in my life to these passions of mine.
In the Spring of 2009 I spent 3 months traveling to Bali, Malaysia, Borneo and the Northern Territory of Australia to teach art to children at Humana Schools on Borneo (www.borneochildaid.org), and l took workshops from Aboriginal Australian artists to learn from the source of the worlds oldest, continuous art tradition.
After spending the summer of 2009 in Truckee to paint and digest all the impressions of South East Asia and Australia, I embarked on the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Trail in September 2009, traveling by foot with my backpack from St. Jean Pied de Port in France to Santiago, Spain.
I walked 470 miles over the Pyrenees and across the Meseta to Santiago de Compostela! - Through beautiful landscapes, forlorn villages, spectacular cities. I have been in more churches, monasteries and cathedrals than I can count, and met wonderful, interesting people along the way. Had lots of wine, too many Patatas Fritas, and slept in bunk beds and on floors. I have been bitten by bedbugs, lulled to sleep by snoring pilgrims, and awoken by church bells. An unforgettable experience that cannot fully be explained in words, so now I am painting from the lessons of the Camino!
You can read about my travels on my blog:

This summer I will be attending art festivals throughout Central California, so be sure to check out my Art Faire Schedule.

Welcome to my new website, which reflects the many changes I have made to my life the last year or so.
I have moved to Truckee, where I am enjoying life - painting - teaching workshops, and being close to my daughter and son-in-law when I am not traveling.
